Support - SEND
SEND stands for Special Educational Needs
Our SENDCO is Mrs Orves. She is responsible for ensuring that children with special educational needs are identified and supported. She will liaise with outside agencies and plan interventions and personalised learning plans to enable every child to flourish and learn.
The school works with a number of outside agencies such as Speech and Language Therapy , Occupational Therapists, Play and Art Therapists, Educational Psychologists, the Hearing and Visual impairments team and the SES services team.
Please do not hesitate to request a meeting via the school office if you have concerns about your child's learning and progress. It is always good to talk to your child's class teacher first but Mrs Orves is always happy to arrange a phone call or meeting where possible. The best way to contact her is through the school office via admin@ilketshallstlawrenceprimary.co.uk marking the e-mail FAO Mrs Orves.
