Polite request - To further protect our children we also remind parents that filming or taking pictures during any school production or event is not allowed. Where possible we will take pictures of the chidlren and share them with you before or after the event.
Bohemian choir from the Czech Republic visits Ilketshall
We warmly welcomed the choir into school in May. The group worked with all children and then performed for us. It was a truly beautiful experience for us all
Ilketshall gets Artsmark GOLD!
We can proudly annouce that we have acheived the Gold award in our Artsmark journey. Over the last 18months we have worked hard to develop our Arts curriculum offer, expanded the range of experiences we include and broadened our network of connections in the Arts - Fantastic work!
Ilketshall becomes a Prem Aware school
Ilketshall has received the Smallest Things Prem Aware Award for our work in supporting families.
The Mystery at Magpie Manor
Barn Owls treated us all to a super performance of their school play. It was packed with humour, acting and lots of dancing, it certainly got a 10 from us!
Merry Christmas Dinner Day
The whole school joined together to enjoy Christmas dinner together. With staff waiting on tables and christmas music on it was a beautiful and very merry occasion for all

The Natural Habitats farming project came to a fantastic finale today as our Year 4 and 5s shared their learning from over the last year with parents and the wider school community

Ilketshall has been awarded the Inclusion Quality Mark for our inclusive school community. We are so proud to have been awarded this quality mark as a reflection of the work we do in school and also the values we believe in
Summer fete fun
When sports day was finished we enjoyed the summer fete. Games, refreshments and endless fun! It was a joy to see the whole school community enjoying time togehter in this special way

The Bohemain Choir from Czech Republic visits
The Bohemian Choir visited us today. They worked with the children and then performed in assembly - a beautiful and magical musical experience for everyone!
Young Voices performing at the O2 in London
Our Young Voices choir journeyed to London to join thousands of children in the O2 to sing together in one giant performance - such a magical experience!
Whole school trip to see the Panto

Our Eco Council launched this campaign in assembly this morning. Nine challenges were set for families to complete by the end of November!
Unsung heroes performance
Eagle Owls performed their Unsung Heroes song to the school today. The song is about a local hero the children researched at Lowestoft Archives and a local composer then worked with them to write the song. They will be singing the song again at Snape Maltings at the end of the month
District Councillors pop in to Ilketshall
Local district councillors, Anthony Speca and Toby Hammond, spent time talking the children about their roles and explaining how each of them can make a difference
MacMillan Coffee Afternoon
MacMillan Coffee Event at Ilketshall raises over £200. A cuppa and cake in the sunshine - beautiful!
Primary Science Quality Mark
Ilketshall has now been awarded the PSQM Gilt award for our Science curriculum across the school - superb!

Barn Owls enjoyed an amazing trip away to the Hilltop adventure centre, two days of activities and fun! Precious memories were made!

Ilketshall's Eco Council have been out tidying around the school grounds this morning as part of the Great British Spring Clean this week

100m sprinter James Dasaolu visited Ilketshall for the morning and put us all through our paces - such an inspirational role model!
BBC Blue Peter Gardener visits Ilketshall
Blue Peter gardener Chris Collins spent the day in school. He worked with every class and gave us some great ideas for our garden areas
