Polite request - To further protect our children we also remind parents that filming or taking pictures during any school production or event is not allowed. Where possible we will take pictures of the chidlren and share them with you before or after the event.
Eco Council's recycling art goes on show!
Our Eco Council's artwork was on show at the Suffolk Show this week on the Suffolk Recycles stand! They worked really hard on their entry and learnt all about the new recycling bins
Bohemian Choir from the Czech Republic pop in!
We were treated to a wonderful performance from the choir this morning. We were mesmerized by their beautiful singing!
Rilee - The Little Red Car performs at Ilketshall
The Bridge Classic Car theatre group performed their story of Rilee the Little Red Car for the whole school. Such a treat for the children to see a real theatre performance in our own school
Ilketshall rocks!
We were all treated to a musical treat as RockSteady came in to talk to us about playing in a rock band. We learned about the intruments, the performance techniques and how important the beat is, huge amount of fun and noise!
Taste testing the new menu
Families and staff enjoyed a taster session after school. Wonderful to see everyone trying new dishes and sharing their ideas
Snow fun!
In January we were treated to a few days of snow, wonderful to investigate and explore in!
Reading pledge challenge - complete!
This year we have been promoting Reading for Pleasure in school as we took part in the NLT Reading Pledge challenge. It has helped us to promote reading in and out of school in many new ways
Asthma Friendly School - GOLD award
We have retained our Asthma Friendly School status again this year. We acheived the GOLD level for our support to children and families
Ilketshall gets Artsmark GOLD!
We can proudly annouce that we have acheived the Gold award in our Artsmark journey. Over the last 18months we have worked hard to develop our Arts curriculum offer, expanded the range of experiences we include and broadened our network of connections in the Arts - Fantastic work!
Ilketshall becomes a Prem Aware school

Ilketshall has been awarded the Inclusion Quality Mark for our inclusive school community. We are so proud to have been awarded this quality mark as a reflection of the work we do in school and also the values we believe in
Young Voices performing at the O2 in London
Our Young Voices choir journeyed to London to join thousands of children in the O2 to sing together in one giant performance - such a magical experience!
Whole school trip to see the Panto
